This kind of story is becoming all too common. It makes you wonder how the heck these cops are trained. This poor guy calls an Alzheimer's support group for advice then they in turn call the cops without telling him and the cops make a complete mess of things.
Whenever a story like this pops up on CD, there always seems to be somebody who takes the side of the police. Might be pretty tough in this case.
It's time to ask - who polices the police? FBI keeps shooting stats on almost every demographic, why not the cops?
How much more of this cowardly police brutality will we as a people continue to tolerate? My god, cops in this country are the most cowardly and violent criminals in society.
We're hearing too many cases of police "overreaction", which do raise valid questions about their training. Sometimes it seems they are just too eager to be 'macho'. When I worked at a PD, I saw many different personalities -- some who didn't seem well suited to the job -- so I'm not surprised at these kinds of reports.

Paid for by taxpayers. Cops need to lose their personal assets when sued for police brutality. It'd curb it quickly.
Hell has frozen over. We agree on something!
