When somebody starts a thread with a fib that silly, there isn't much point in following the thread.

BTW, where's the poll entry for:

* Conservatives' predictions for Obama have proven accurate: An inexperienced, incompetent socialist dictator.

??

Really? Did you happen to see the GOP's demands for raising the debt ceiling?

They want to delay Obamacare, means test Medicare, cut Medicaid and social services funding, and then deregulate Wall Street and the energy industry. That's what they want to do.

Ahh, a perfect plan, why would you be against such common sense ideas?

Because I don't think cutting programs that help the less well off and the elderly and deregulating big business is wise policy.

That's just the narrative that Democrats like to push. "We're for the common man fighting against the Republicans and their rich friends." The truth is far more complicated than that, as both Democrats and Republicans are for the common man in some areas and for big business in other areas. It has always been that way. For example, Democrats have always been for unions. This requires them to be for the best interests of big businesses which are unionized, against the small businesses which compete against those large corporations without having union labor themselves. In that way, Democrats are against the common man and for big business. Another example is that Democrats have traditionally supported environmentalist special interest groups, which has caused them to support extra EPA power. A powerful EPA translates into a higher cost of producing goods and services to comply with EPA regulations, which means higher prices that poor people have to pay. So that's another way in which Democrats do not support the common people.

Obama does not look after the small and medium business's nor the common American but looks after the Global Corporations and Banks, like many presidents before him.
Yes. This is not really a Democrat vs Republicans issue, but is more of a statist vs limited government issue. There are politicians in both parties that lean both ways on that. But I think the politicians who fall on the small business side of things tend to be representatives and the occasional senator. I don't think there's been a president who wasn't a big business guy in a century. The amount of backing required to mount a successful presidential campaign is simply too great for anyone to accomplish it without toadying up to big business for their support. That's as true of a liberal hero like LBJ as it is of a conservative hero like Reagan.

They are Neo Global Fascists that put their interests above the best interests of the nation and its people.
They do not believe in Nationalism but may use the tagline in propaganda to persuade people to go along with their devious plans, especially when it comes to using our Military for Regulating the Global Economy rather than defending the Nation.
I disagree with you here. I don't see much nationalism. I think liberalism is its own nationalism. They have replaced the extreme patriotism normally associated with fascism with a devotion to liberalism instead. The end result is the same. It ends up producing the same sort of statist policies and disregard for the rule of law. But the rhetoric is different. And note that before Hitler made fascism a dirty word, the progressives in this country were great admirers of fascism.
Quote:
The same ones that are against regulations when it comes to the best interests of the nation, are totally for regulating the world with our military.
They are for regulations when it comes to the best interest of themselves, regardless of whether they are regulating the nation or the world.
