Probably due to the distance from the U.S. the coverage might have been a bit thin, but the BBC had a great deal of footage shot by people inside the mall with their various gadgets.

With all the terrible things people here say about Muslims, I thought I'd post this.
Look, some people like to throw everyone under a bus because of one stupid person. Look at strollers! One idiot can't read the manual, and then we all have to be subjected to some more idiotic "protections"!!!!
All this re-search money wasted and there's still no cure for STUPID! If you want to see a reversed example just turn on the news in the US and start throwing up. I am not surprised in the least by this story. There are millions of Muslims that are very nice people, who mind their own business, and live their own lives. I am not sure why that would be surprising! Ohh wait I know...Americans don't travel...they just rely on the disgusting media for the "truth"!!! Wake up already.

There are plenty of bad people in the US to make the Muslims look like little babies...by the way by bad I don't just mean those who hurt en-mass, but plenty of bad people tormenting others like bully's! I don't see an outside army trying to eradicate those! What about those employers who cut employees hours to under 30 to make them part time to not pay health insurance? slow death? death by no access to medicine? sure looks like it. I think that's worst than anything else....because the expectation is to have a slave working for you; which BTW is supported by the US Gov! So US Citizens are hurt en-mass by their own Gov working against them!...I don't think this is any better, or different than throwing grenades!

Coverage of world events here in the US has always been thin. After living in Europe for a number of years, I watch BBC world news or Heute on the German channel if I can get it.

Here is a great site for reading about world news: http://www.dw.de/

Last edited by Leaving4Ca; 09-29-2013 at 07:19 AM.. Reason: added information about German news site

Here is a great site for reading about world news: TOP STORIES | DW.DE

Thank you for the site recommendation. I have used it before, and I also use: www.france24.com, www.bbc.com, and www.euronews.com.
