In the Democrats' bizarro world... which is the world they now want to impose on the rest of us.
I see you didn't answer the either. I am asking a very simple question. It is not difficult to answer.

Why should the Democrats in Congress who aren't asking for any concessions from the conservatives to fund the government vote to destroy their own bill in order for the conservatives to vote to fund the government?

Can one conservative answer that simple question?

Republicans in the House have passed a bill that will fund all of the government at last year's levels, even including all the Democrats' pet projects from last year that Republicans (or at least conservatives) normally object to.

Democrats in the Senate have refused to pass that bill, or even vote on it, because it doesn't fund one new Dem pet project that wasn't part of the government last year, the ACA. But they are doing nothing to write a separate bill to fund that new pet project.

The more fanatical Democrats are insisting it's Republicans' fault that government isn't getting funded.

Can they get any sillier?
You need to face the reality that the GOP is going the long way around the bull to repeal and defund a LAW. They couldn't repeal legislatively, so they're trying to make America pay for their dithering.

Hey - you're still here! Where's the link? You've read the bill, right? So you have the link to share with your buddies here, right?

Funniest part is, the mainstream media is even repeating this mantra, as though there is something Holy about Democrats not changing their stand... while Republicans not changing their stand (for the first time in decades) is somehow outrageous.

I always get a kick out of this media "fairness".
So the House passes a bill that is basically a Republican orgasm bill that gives the Republicans everything they want and it is somehow the Democrats fault for not caving and giving into all the demands of the Republicans? That is like giving a criminal all their demands and telling them it is cool to kill the hostage too.

What is in this bill that gives Democrats some things that they want? You know, compromise.

Are you asserting the ACA was not the Law last year?

Excellent question that you have asked on several threads that not a single Con will answer.

I will add another one--why should the Senate accept a concession of a one-year delay in the implementation of Obamacare in exchange for the GOP's magnanimous offer of allowing the government to continue to function for a mere two months? That's all the time their CR covers. Why not offer to fund the government for that same full year? Because at the end of those two months, they will make further demands to dismantle the ACA, and we get to do this all over again.

Yeah, can't figure out why the Democrats aren't jumping all over this "deal."

The compromise is that the GOP is funding EVERYTHING in the government, even the billions of unlawful spending, except for obamacare.

The dummycrats better learn how to win congressional elections if they want to shove their agenda down our throats.

I didn't send my representative to DC to rubber stamp a leftie agenda.

obama HIMSELF already illegally delayed the employer mandate for one year.

Why?

Because it's a bad bill and he realizes that he'll lose the senate as well as the house in 2014 once it's fully implemented.
