Police said one of the bikers -- Robert Sims -- also stomped on the driver's head and body, according to a detective's criminal complaint.
Sims was one of two bikers who turned himself in to authorities on Friday. He has been charged with attempted assault, gang assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The man who cops say launched last week’s vicious biker-gang beatdown of a West Side motorist was ordered held on $100,000 bond or $75,000 cash after his arraignment Sunday in the caught-on-camera incident.
Reginald Chance, 37, of Brooklyn — who sources say has a rap sheet with 21 prior arrests — is allegedly the violent “motor-psycho” who used his chrome helmet to smash open a window of victim Alexian Lien’s Range Rover on Sept. 29.
Lien, an Internet exec from Lower Manhattan, was then dragged from the SUV and stomped in front of his horrified wife and 2-year-old daughter.
Chance spent Saturday in lineups at the 33rd Precinct in Washington Heights before being charged with first-degree gang assault, assault and criminal mischief.
Now we know why these bikers have intimidated other motorists and nothing has ever been done to stop them. A large percentage of the bikers are detectives, police officers or correction officers. Ha - NYPD's motto is 'Courtesy, Professionalism, Respect'!!! That's a bunch of BULL!!! NYPD needs to be sued for about $100 million and a number of 'servants' serve a lengthy period of time in prison. Maybe some bikers serving prison time will beat the **** out of those dumbass cops! Sure hope so!!!
I would assume most police (wherever they work) are good guys.

I think most people agree that these bikers were wrong and deserves what's coming to them. Their Intimidation led to the Suv drivers action to protect his family.
Thank god for the brave man who stepped in and helped.
Get used to it my friends, there is no more ''officer friendly'' they view everyone as a potential enemy and many are nothing more than jack booted thugs. Comply or die should be their new motto, not protect and serve. The sad part is, the good cops won't do anything to expose the corruption and abuse within there own departments.
The guy who is at the hospital with a broken spine has a long rap-sheet. Im not saying he deserves what he got but you know what they say about karma.
