At least one good thing from the Shutdown, we've had a break from at least one suspected shill from the government who liked to stir up division. I guess to him it was just a job. Give that loser a year long furlough, please.

So you're saying it's not good to alter what really happened to fit your narrative? Hmmm, imagine that.

The President is correct in saying, "Stop this farce. End this shutdown now"...

Only if he's facing a mirror when he says it.
Hey, how about trotting old Harry Reid out again for another sound bite and another swig of tigers blood? WINNING!! <insert Charlie Sheen>

Monday is the day the DoD/Pentagon starts preparing their payroll for their 15th paychecks.
So we'll see what happens.

The public display of shutdown maneuvers is just like the public display of sequester hits.

Default Easy solution to the standoff

The House can just go with an up or down vote on a clean bill and end this debacle. That will show the will of the majority in the House. Then they can declare a victory and say "we did the right thing, restored faith again, and brought the party back from the brink." What could be simpler?

Good idea or not?

Yeah its a good idea but the GOP equates bipartisanship to cardinal sin, so it wont happen.
