So, I run into that all the time, means the mods are killing or editing the thread, try again later if it is still there. You managed to post what I am replying to and I can assure you the mods do not read your post before it is posted so it was either a site issue or pilot error.

They are insane. Look, the election and re-election of President Obama is an existential crisis for conservatives. They really are lost at this point in the sense of policy/politics.
I remember when President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize, and going to work and the anger being expressed, like he doesn't deserve it, which I could agree with, but damn why are you so angry dude?
Then the cheers when the city of Chicago(I live and work about 25-30miles from Chicago)didn't get the Olympics was visceral and I understood it to be they viewed it as a loss for the President and were happy and both of those incidents occurred when he had been President a very, very short period of time.
I knew then, he has driven many conservatives out of their minds with irrational hatred and fear, and anger.

I agree, the Republican party really has a great history in this nation and what the Republicans did to end slavery and to empower black southerners right after the civil war is amazing.
But these conservatives... They are irrational, hateful, etc.
Look I get that they were going to be opposed to President Obama, but they have gone insane with it.
All of these conspiracy theories, turning their back on compromise, turning their back on their own policies that they supported for years.
And just the anger, listen to some of these conservative elected officials, listen to conservatives on the radio, read conservatives on the web, and they are p/oed and have been p/oed for 4 plus years now.
