Nope the Repugs had three years to come up with a compromise, they did not, what they did was try and kill funding, make claims they would over turn it when they won the Senate, they didn't win, and they tried bring to the SC and have it killed as UnConstitution, again failure on their part. They want to discuss it now, yeah right, they are simply trying to make into a shell of what it was supposed to be so they could stand back and say it does not work. If they want to discuss reforming it they need to pass the budget with it in it and then maybe they can come to some agreements with the Dems in the Senate on what to change, they do not want to do that and we know why, if they let it ride for a while people will figure out that it really does work and that the Repugs are a bunch of Lieing Pigs.
Just so ya know.

Republicans produced actual budgets, every year, with lots of compromises. Democrats produced nothing.

Would you please come up with a FEW facts, instead of the pure BS you keep spewing in posts like that one?

Your response makes no sense at all, This debate isnt over the budget it is over Obamacare. Both sides had already agreed to the budget for this year.

You keep failing and it isnt even funny anymore.

And the Republicans agreed to the budget without funding the ACA. If both sides agreed to it, why did the Dems now change their mind?

Because no one agreed to defunding Obamacare when all this was agreed upon back in March/April

But technically the funding was never there. So it's not really being defunded. They need to borrow the money on top of everything else that has already been included (and agreed to) in raising the debt ceiling. Why wasn't this included in the budgets?? They had 3.5 years to plan for this, start including it in budgets, and keeping the money aside.
Instead they waited until now.

its not "on top of" as you claim, it is in the budget already as well.

You are making a fraudulent argument based on something you dont understand so let me take a guess.

the ACA is the law of the land so you can not stop its implementation, but just like the government buildings that are closed to day, you can defund the people who work in them. got it now ?

(patiently)

This thread is about the lack of government funding that shut down the government.

Are you really that ignorant? Or are you just lying to see if anyone knows that no budget has been agreed to for FOUR YEARS?
