That " general welfare clause" can be used to justify anything including building bridges to nowhere for 50 people.

I wasn't citing the general welfare clause, which is in the preamble. I was citing Article I, Section 8, which you CLEARLY have never read, and which reads:
The Congress shall have Power To ... establish Post Offices and Post Roads;
It's RIGHT THERE IN THE CONSTITUTION, the federal government has the EXPLICIT authority to build roads.
I'm disgusted that so many people are so COMPLETELY CLUELESS about the very document which DEFINES the federal government. It's no wonder that so many of these people are demanding that their rights be stripped away in favor of a short term political victory for "their side."

This is why the Republicans have tried so hard to kill the ACA. They know that once millions of Americans see what it actually does and the advantages that is creates for them and their families, it will be impossible to repeal it or destroy it. It may also cause people to wonder just what else the GOP has been lying to them about.

Those that weren't, would normally avoid going to hospitals. Only go if they really needed to. One time costs here and there. Now they can just get subsidized plans. No longer one time costs here and there, it's now a recurring cost.
Illegal aliens are not eligible for the ACA or any subsidies. They will show up at the ER and be treated like they always have under the 1986 Reagan Health Care bill where anybody of a higher order than a chimpanzee gets stabilizing treatment in an ER regardless of their ability to pay. I would expect that you would prefer to turn these people away at the door.

Most Doctors i have talked with, and my sister inlaw works at one of the Large well known Hospitals out here, most Doctors, do not want any part of Obamacare, and they will be happy to tell you why, if you have a honest relationship with them.
I know Doctors, who no longer have their practices, and 30 Dr's who quite from one major Hospital a couple months back. Infact that article was in the newspapers don't remember how back that was. Obamacare not as popular, as the wittle sheeple are led to believe. Believe everything you hear, or read.
