No, wrong, republicans wanted to sit down and discuss this.....the democrates are the ones who are refusing and the democrates are the ones who want to win more then they want to help the American public.
what, exactly is there to be discussed and compromised about established law? Any established law. You don't compromise established law. There is a legislative process enumerated by the constitution that has been in effect for 230 years on how to amend established law. There is no way, the president is going to circumvent constitutional law by agreeing to compromise with republicans while they hold a gun to the head of the functioning of government.
He'll talk to them but he won't compromise on the ACA. Any compromise made behind closed doors concerning the ACA would be challenged in the Supreme Court as unconstitutional. You cannot amend a law with a handshake. It must be amended by legislative process which is detailed in the Constitution.
They still haven't fixed the problems, so people still can't register on Day 2. They've had 3 years to get this website up and running.
They can't handle less than 1% of the people looking at their website, yet think they can manage 30 million new customers? It's insane. They are not even remotely prepared for this.
Even people who were excited about Obamacare are complaining on healthcare.gov's social media.
Yes it is stupid to wait to the last minute to get people trained to handle it, our Repub idiot in charge in Texas, Perry, did exactly that, waited until the last second to get people trained to deal with those calling to set up their insurance.
Most low-information voters think it's FREE. Of course they sign up for it, they would sign up for anything that they thought they could get from the government for free.

Isn't 20 years in Branson prove you to be a low information voter?
I don't get where some people think this is free, someone has to pay for it and again, the middle class working man will carry the burden.
The middle class has always borne the brunt of all government programs. The poor get help, the wealthy get masses of perks, bonuses, high pay, tax credits and lobbyist to pay off the politicians to make the laws even better for them. Its always been that way, the working middle class will always be the ones stuck "in the middle". This isn't a right or left issue, its a class issue.

LOL.
The only reason the middle class exists in the first place is because of government programs.
Republicans have opposed most of these vociferously. No wonder they have to pretend that government squashes the middle class -- it's the only way to distract Americans from their longstanding hatred of that class.

Ummmm..Perry said no to state exchanges. Texas uses the Fed Gov exchange.
They only got their act together 3 months ago (git upload of code) and never publicly tested it before yesterday.
So, it's not the "idiot Perry" but the "idiot Obama" since Texas uses the Fed exchange
