Really?

This is a older poll, but if what you say is true, how can 42% of Americans not know the ACA is even law?

Yeah, because as we know, the typical Republican voter is well informed on Obamacare/ACA after a steady diet of Fox News and Rush Limbaugh.

Precisely, and we see RWNJs vigorously working to blind themselves to this realization.

They're scared to death it's going to work, just like RomneyCare did in Massachusetts. They've seen what happens when real people see real results from programs like Obamacare.

People just don't think for themselves anymore. They rely on the talking heads and pundits to do their thinking for them.

Actuallly the thread is quite interesting if you watch Obama in the primaries describe exactly what he proposed in a healthcare act in debate with Hillary. ACA id much more Hillary's plan with its mandate for one example. Obama did not favor this then because he flat out said it would be impossible to actually enforce. If one watched the senate committee markup of the ACA a lot of democratic special interest killed any actasul support in funding the bill such as taxing healthcare plans provided by companies after a certain amount. But they slipped in the excise tax startnig in 2018 on those Cadillac plans in writing the bill. Companies did not see the medical device tax either as that alone is going to driveup healthcare prices and most senators want to drop it but that means other funding as to be found as its a huge amount. There are a lot of taxes and fees being found that will driveup pricing of healthcare it seems beyond just premiums. The largest will be for medicaid state increases coming in 2017 for states adopting it; except Nebraska which is except in the bill itself.
