Lots of conflicting "information" coming out.........
All the DC stations are consistent:
Woman driving car.
Avoided barricades.
Tried to run over officers who were on foot.
Police car rammed and destroyed between woman's car and barricade.
Police fire shots, hit woman in neck.
Woman dead, young child in car.

Yep.
Also--I've heard several times that the woman is from Connecticut, she is 34 years old, and they are contacting state of Connecticut looking for mental issues.
This is apparently where it all started, she tried to go through that checkpoint.
I'm thinking shes just a lost tourist who just lost it and went crazy (ive driven in DC before, it is insane)

Uh no. The tapes show her trying to run her car through the barricades. Do you not get news feed where you are? To me, it does not look like someone who is lost.

Well no news station is reporting on a motive for all of this.
No, they aren't reporting a motive here either but I guess because I'm in the D.C. area, I have had constant coverage since about 3PM. It just doesn't look like a lost tourist to me at all.
The news has apparently contacted her previous employer in Connecticut (a dental office) where she had been fired. Apparently she started out pleasant and friendly but it didn't take long until they saw her "dark side."
