Awww, poor GOP.

Having spent untold resources convincing everybody that the PPACA will mean the end of full-time employment as we know it, Wal-Mart announces that they will convert 35,000 jobs from part-time to full-time.

Wal-Mart Returning To Full-Time Workers-Obamacare Not Such A Job Killer After All? - Forbes

You are very observant. They are, however, the biggest employer in the US.

I still wouldn't p.ss on the Waltons if they caught fire, but isn't it - interesting - that the poster boy for use-and-discard as employee policy is suddenly reversing course?

Yeah, did you also note the part of the story about stores having empty shelves because they dont have employees working?

What other option did they have?

btw, they employ 2.1 million individuals.. I'm willing to bet those 35,000 selected to go full time, will be in carefully selected positions to maximize profits..

So I guess the AFA is a good thing. How was Walmart able to do this when Papa Johns indicated they needed to close stores and cut work force 6 months ago because of Obama Care. Maybe Walmart doesn't know their business?
