It's not about the price you pay but rather the idea that we allow Wall Street so much control over the economy.
Wall Street IS the economy.

Thank you, Mr President!

Lefties started blaming the president for gasoline prices during the Bush years.

We intellectually honest conservatives realize that the president has no control over gasoline prices.....I just enjoy turning it around on lefties and hear their arguments and backtracking.

But anyway, low gasoline prices mean low demand......which means a slow economy. So, in essence, you're correct for thanking obama.

Enjoy the absence of another stupid middle east war and lower gas prices.
Another "stupid middle east war" that Obama unilaterally wanted to start? The one where no one in the world would support him? That war?

Good job, Mr President!
You mean lying about his intentions to divert attention from what he is (not) doing?

In that case, his actions are right in line with his other lies that his obamabots buy without actual thought.

I'm saying he's doing a great job - especially with these low gas prices.

What are you calling him?

A couple of months ago, this forum was full of posts from RWNJs griping about gas prices and laying the blame on the president. It would be hypocritical of the right to now ignore the significant drop in those prices. It would also be hypocritical to disavow the earlier linkage for hyperpartisan convenience.

Obama's done a good job as president. A particularly sharp contrast to his predecessor.

So if you can thank him for lower gas prices... Can I blame Obama for higher gas prices? Liberals are so two-faced...
