It is true. Most states in NewEnglnd expect for Massachusetts only have a 1 percent black population each. Additionally, New England is under represented by Hispanics. Liberals know this, they just try to use code words to rationalize. They would say something like "New England has a more homogenous populace"
So when all those people were saying that liberalism killed Detroit.....they really meant black people....right? Liberalism is just a euphemism used by the right to mask sounding racist by blaming things on minorities. When one breaks open their code words, by asking a question like the OP did.....Surprissse Surprise....as Gomer Pile would say.....just like we figured.
New England nabs a good amount of the top 10 in education.
New England (and much of the northeast) has some of the lowest obesity rates in the country despite the winters.
What is it that causes New England to be so successful? And why does the right harp on about Detroit while ignoring this region? (let's not neglect how the region that came in last in EVERY category votes.)
And some of the lowest poverty rates in the country.
Hardly any large black inner city ghetto's.
Just take a step south to Conn. Hartford is a violent slum.
is it racist if it is factually correct? it's not always the fault of the black people, but the fault of who the black people put into office. marrion barry smoked crack on video with a hooker and was reelected. look at the politicians in places like detroit.
Can the right explain the success formula for New England
Simple enough - It primarily comes down to demographics.
Proving that this is the case is relatively straightforward too. The OP, like many liberals looking to make a convenient argument, is comparing 'New England' to the traditionally conservative southern states. In other words, the OP believes conservative = southern states, and liberal = New England. On that point, he/she is correct.
However...
How do you explain states like Utah, or Colorado? Utah is, and always has been ultra conservative and religious, yet, they seem to have their act together with a strong economy, and good education and healthcare systems. Colorado, too, has always been a fairly conservative state (even though they have shifted towards the center over recent years) and seems to be doing well.
The OP is simply cherry picking the states he/she wants to represent conservative vs. liberal, making for a completely flawed argument.
I could easily spin this topic around and ask liberals why states like New Mexico have such high poverty, lousy healthcare, and a poor education system. New Mexico is bright blue afterall.

But see....you all NEVER explain what would account for blacks not having the capacity, on par with whites, to choose politicians that are BEST FOR THEM. You also never explain what is the root cause of blacks being more corrupt politicians, if its true. All you want to do is say "LOOK". Yeah.....I am looking at what happened in these places but why should I believe that whites are superior and don't have the same propensity or incompetence to do such things? Chicago has been corrupt for decades....and New York was also...via white corruption. The State of Illinois last 4 governors have been imprisoned I believe....all white.
