No big surprises here: conservatives are the largest group. I am betting if the moderate-leaning-to-right option hadn't been offered, the conservatives numbers would have been even higher.

It's more like 68 Conservative leaning folks and 56 Liberal leaning folks (that's if you include socialist; communists and anarchists are a stretch to count towards liberalism). To be fair, libertarians could probably go either way. There are some that would be considered far more progressive than conservative simply due to their social ideals.

If you just count straight up Conservatives and Liberals, the numbers are more 50/50.

They can already do this - SSM is not necessary.

However, Harrier does support the government getting entirely out of the marriage business, and instead only enforcing contracts of commitment through the courts, into which anyone could enter. In this arrangement, anyone could call themselves married if they wish, but the word would have no legal meaning.

Harrier knows why SSM supporters don't like this common sense proposal, it is because their motive is not as innocuous as you stated in the bolded, which as Harrier already said, is not an issue.

The reason why SSM supporters oppose the "Harrier plan" is because they want government enforced acceptance of their deviant lifestyle, not tolerance or "equality", which they already have.

34+16=50 Conservative/leaning Right
31+19=50 Liberal/leaning Left

Never mind, I see you edited while I was editing my own.

Democratic socialist is redundant.

Can you name three living, self-identified American socialists without looking it up? I bet you can't.

This is what frustrates me. The more anti-socialist someone claims to be, the less they know about it. Nine times out of ten, they haven't read a single socialist text, cannot name a single living socialist, cannot name a single existing socialist group. They know nothing about it whatsoever, yet yammer on like they do.

BTW, do you know what "redundant" mean? I have a feeling you may not...

That you can't handle facts is not Harrier's problem.

Harrier is not your secretary - you can do your own research.

Harrier's statement of a fact - that the fastest growing segment of Republicans are young blacks and young Hispanics is not made invalid simply because Tuna Meowt says so.

In support of your denial of that fact, you have offered nothing but strawman arguments and childish jabs.

You have refused 4 times to engage in an intelligent and rational discussion, and apparently you have some prepubescent hang up on a cartoon character named "the Hulk".

Harrier can barely believe that he is even wasting his time responding to such a juvenile poster as yourself, but Harrier is a patient man, so you have another chance to make a logical and rational argument.

Use this opportunity wisely and productively.

"Beware the fury of a patient man"
