Yup. And the correct name is The Democratic Party.
It could have been named the Democracy party, just as the Republican party could have been named the Republic party. Why were the Whigs named Whigs? Why was The Grange called just the grange, and those affiliated with it called Grangers instead of Granges?
To borrow a phrase from Democrats Harry Reid (implied, of course) and Hillary Clinton: What difference does it make?
Bingo, as Hillary did say, "WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE" both party's are one in the same, with a different outlook, mainly both looking for ways to help themselves, not us the people.

Who cares what they call anyone? The republicans are finished as a legitimate party in this country so let them have their little tantrums. It's funny to watch them squirm!
