If you really wanted to raise some serious $$, I would consider leasing the entire interstate highway system to a private entity to operate as toll roads on maybe a 75 year lease like Indiana did. At on point before the recession, PA was offered $8 Billion for their turnpike. Make sure the lease agreements specify allowable toll increase increments and spells out maintenance and upgrade parameters.

Canada would have to defeat our inevitable militias first. Do you have any idea how many of us northerners have a closet-full of hunting rifles?

Uh; Mexico would pay a LOT for Arizona since so many of us have guns and WILL use them.
