What's scarier, a terrorist or a police officer who refuses to help you? I'd say the latter, because that's someone that you have placed your trust in to protect you, kinda like your parents. A terrorist you know is there to harm you.

'NEW YORK (WABC) -- Eyewitness News has learned that among the bikers on the Henry Hudson last weekend, were five off-duty NYPD officers.

Sources say at least two detectives witnessed the attack on Alexian Lien and did not directly intervene. And investigators are still working to determine what role, if any, was played by the other three officers.

What is clear, sources say, is that the men did not begin to come forward until late Wednesday, four full-days after the incident.

And detectives are also investigating reports that several others in the group may have been off-duty New York City correction officers.'

One jacket has been identified as belonging to a New Rochelle motorcycle club. Moreover the videographer is identified but has not responded to inquiries. The bikers were engaged in a rally that they call “Hollywood Stuntz” in which they engage in obnoxious road stunts and generally harass drivers. The police arrested 15 people, confiscated 55 motorcycles and issued 68 summonses for the stunts starting in Times Square unconnected to the Lien attack.

You conveniently left out the part where the officers were all undercover detectives. If they had of intervened, they would have blown their cover. While it does say they were off-duty at the time, we don't know if their investigations had anything to do with any of the bikers present... if they did, then blowing their cover could have had a far larger impact on other matters than what happened with these bikers.

Are you really as naïve as you appear????? What a freaking cop-out response. One undercover officer and you're ready to declare the officer's free and clear of their responsibility to protect and to serve???

Blown their cover for what - to be undercover wanna-be bikers? Maybe they are the equivalent of the Hell's Angels in your eyes? Or, maybe they were hot on the trail of some wild Rave parties, following the stunt wildings, with perhaps some wild Ecstacy use - ooooh, scary.

Cops are drug dealers. Cops are rapist. Cops are murderers. Cops steal. Cops lie.

Do some of you understand that Cops are NOT gods? They are not always moral people. The more naive you are, the more power you give to them.

Considering cops kill way more people than terrorists, probably cops.

We're becoming a lot like our neighboring nation where many of the cops are actually part of organized crime rings.

Strange that after four days of thinking about it, they themselves were able to come to the conclusion they should come forward.

Undercover my rosy red butt.

No police force in this age of budget restraint is going to ear-mark any funds to support five under-cover cops to the duty of infiltrating spontaneous rice-rocket mosh fests.
