He refused to extend the individual mandate knowing in advance that there were many problems with the system and it wasn't ready.
We know now that one of the reasons for this refusal was to force the shut down, knowing he could blame the Republicans for it.

Since when is not wanting to be taxed to death racist? Obamacare is another tax put on the people. It was ruled a tax by our supreme court. The tea party is all about lowering taxes! And of course the liberals stretch it again with lies and slander that they are racists. Who believes that nonsense anyway?.. oh yes,, the liberals .. believe every lie ..

It's worse than a tax. It's a new means tested welfare program that takes in people earning up to 400% of the FPL. That definitely goes into middle class territory now.

Middle class folks qualifying for a means tested welfare program.

Sure, just like the last 40 times it failed and the shutdown didn't do.

Insanity, trying the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

Not gonna happen.

Even if the terrified Democrats facing election (that Forbes referred to), pass a bill thru the House and Senate to repeal, there's no way the true-believer fanatic in the White House will ever sign it.

He'll have to be removed from office before repeal can be done.

Two thirds majority is needed and his whining will be moot.

I don't necessarily agree with the article, but at least I read it, unlike you - obviously.
