This government shutdown, and the militantly dumb statements I have been reading for weeks suggest that a good number of Tea Partiers have become more of an apocalyptic cult than a real political movement.
How are the Tea Partiers different from wingnuts like Randy Weaver and McVeigh? The hostility, anti-government fanaticism, obsession with guns, etc. all seems increasingly familiar.
What positive outcome do they hope to create by sewing so much strife and nastiness?
Tea Partiers are older and drive mobility scooters. Militia members are younger and are out riding around on quads looking for illegal aliens. Tea Partiers for the most part are retired. Militia members are younger and hold jobs. Both seem to like guns. Tea Partiers like to dress up in red, white, and blue garb. Militia members like camo.

You nailed it. Tea Partiers think every else is a deadbeat moocher, while they collect their SSI, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and get their heath care from either the VA or TRICARE For Life.

You do understand all those programs were either paid into their whole lives or paid for by service to our country... on second thought because you have done neither you probably don't understand....

they are statist, they hate the idea of men being trained with arms to resist an tyrannical central government..The thought of men securing their liberty, propriety, and destiny is terrifying to them.

I consider your devotion to government cult like and advocating for more laws and less freedom moves you right over to the lunatic fringe column.
Please tell us what positive outcomes come from bankrupt social welfare programs, historic debt, endless wars and trampled civil liberties?

they will reply with some mindless feces about being heartless, racist, uncaring, stupid, or only caring about guns and money...or something along those lines..
