I was no fan of OWS, but you are making a false comparison. One of the fatal flaws of OWS was that it, by "design", had no centralized leadership or organizational structure to speak of. The Tea Party events were much more composed, with people actually running the show.
There is no genuine Leftie equivalent to the Tea Party. The TP would have us believe otherwise, but there has been no organized, agenda-driven, broad-spectrum Liberal movement in ages.
