And if it weren't for gerrymandering Democrats wouldn't hold any minority majority districts like they do right now all over the country. Democrats hate gerrymandering all of a sudden but they LOVE it when they use it to build districts that suit their base.

As they should lose the House. These extremists seem to be bewildered by the modern world and only interested in causing as much chaos as possible.

That said, I can't see Democrats taking back the House in 2014. I think it will be like 1998 where Democrats gain a few seats, but not enough to take it back.
All it will take to lose the Republican majority is 17 seats, and that number can be switched in 2014.

GOP In Grave Danger Of Losing House In 2014, PPP Polls Show

Like it or not, the PPP polls were some of the most consistently accurate of 2008, 2010, and 2012.

Shutting down the government appears to be an issue that overcomes the gerrymandering. Once the polled conservatives learned their Representative had allowed the shutdown to happen, they were willing to switch their vote, especially in contested districts in Florida, Colorado, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

The majority gap was already narrowed in 2012. 2014 may be the election that closes it.

This is true. Their constituents want nothing less than the total reconstruction of the nation in their image. They are armed. They meet. They recruit. They disseminate coordinated propaganda on all social mediums. They are an army just waiting for a general.

Interesting times.

Well, this is the lowest chapter I have yet seen in politics. If these bozos were sent packing, it would restore a lot of my faith in our system. If not, I don't really know what to say.

My organization will be coming out with a poll tomorrow that will say Americans are fed up with the Democrats and President Obama. If your group can offer more money for our services the poll results could be different.

i dont see it in 2014, as others have referenced the GOP gerrymandering the districts and off year elections have low turnout.

if hillary runs in 2016, everything changes though.

This is a great chapter in politics and reflects what a democracy is all about. Democrats shoved a giant entitlement program down America's throat that most people didn't want. People understand we soon won't be able to afford Social Security, how the hell are we going to afford Obamacare. Most Americans understand it's a law that will destroy the middle class in this country and they are flooding their representatives with email and phone calls to hang tough and defund this monstrosity.

Kudos to the GOP for sticking to their guns.
