When I heard that the US government was preparing for war against Americans I thought it was preposterous. However the more of the pieces to the puzzle I find the more it looks like there is smoke in the woodpile.

I thought back to after 9/11 when the feds passed out gobs of money to any crossroad junction in the US to buy what they called anti-terrorist equipment. Well, the news media had a field day with this as there was no such thing as anti-terrorist equipment. The municipalities laughed too but to keep the money they spent it on anti-riot gear, like water cannons, SWAT team riot gear, etc. I laughed too, but as the years past I witnessed the erosion of our right through legislation like the Patriot Act and others. Fast forward to HR 5122 and the fact that this bill allows foreign troops on American soil to control Americans. The bills were passed with no fanfare. I watched our local policeman in a blue uniform and a night stick be transformed into a menacing looking war character that no child would ever trust.
Ask yourself why would America need foreign troops? Why did the feds fund riot equipment to almost every municipality across the country? Is the Federal Government preparing for the next American Revolution?

What makes you think that the same government that can't defend a memorial against a bunch of 90-year-olds in wheelchairs is capable of waging and winning an all-out nationwide war?

I suspect that there is a need for a credible threat to prepare for. So the smoke that you are smelling is from the pipe of those who buy into the idea that the American people are going to wage some kind of war against the government.

If you can tell me the specific group responsible for the shootings in your video post I'll take you seriously.

They're definitely scared sh*tless of the population they govern.

And they're spending billions on security at the local level for a reason.

I think a lot of them get sexually aroused by spying on their fellow citizens.
