And this coming from someone who defended the wrong headed actions of the school admin. with imaginary lawsuits.

Several districts from outside Long Island are already contacting Nassau County educators. Soon, additional schools may be jumping on the banning balls bandwagon
Dodgeball was so much fun in elementary school. Everybody who ever played it when they were younger, still remembers it. That district on long island is full of liberal yuppies. I'm not suprised by this.
As long as there are parents who will sue school districts over the silliest, pettiest minor injuries, insults, etc, school districts will take ridiculous measures to protect their funds from these parasites and their lawyers.
AS long as Lawyers are willing to sue and gullible juries willing to award you will have frivolous lawsuits.

It's not the fault of greedy parents. If the jury has any sense at all, they will not award damages to silly risk averse parents.
