Bachmann had some help by running in a gerrymandered district. Obama didn't have that advantage.

Clearly she doesn't understand the word "terrorists."

The non-lethal assistance includes "chemical weapons-related personal protective equipment [being sent] to international organizations, including the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, for the conduct of their operations." That would include experts monitoring the removal and destruction of chemical weapons under an agreement reached by the United States and Russia.

The equipment would include "chemical weapons-related life-saving assistance for organizations implementing Department of State or U.S. Agency for International Development programs to strengthen local Syrian healthcare providers' ability to prepare for and respond to any use of chemical weapons."

Finally, the White House said the equipment would include "defensive chemical weapons-related training and personal protective equipment to select vetted members of the Syrian opposition, including the [Western-allied] Supreme Military Council, to protect against the use of chemical weapons. This action is part of longstanding and ongoing efforts to provide life-saving chemical weapons-related assistance to people in need in Syria."

Yes, but that is not "blaming" the President for the end times, which are going to occur regardless of what the President does.

Bachmann is interpreting the action as a sign that we are in the end times.

Harrier doesn't see the connection, but can understand that she is referring to a symptom, not a cause.

Besides, she mentioned the fig leaf, and in Biblical prophecy, the fig leaf always refers to Israel.

Harrier is among those who think that the fig leaf sprouted 65 years ago when Israel was reborn.

She sounds like a city-data poster...pathetic, these kinds of people have place in adult conversation anywhere in the world.

She's clearly blaming the President. You're either trolling or you really don't understand the current state of affairs in Republican politics.

Half of evangelicals believe prayer can heal mental illness

That is a false dichotomy - and no, she is not blaming the president.

She is expressing her interpretation of an event, which to her appears to be a sign that we are in the end times.

Syria plays prominently in the Gog-Magog War prophesied in Ezekiel 38-39, so maybe that is where she makes the connection.

In any event, her statement is a personal opinion, not a political jab.

Liberals do that all the time on this board, so yes, it is them, and Harrier agrees that those liberals are intellectually dishonest.

And so do conservatives. It is childish, not to mention intellectually dishonest, to imply or claim otherwise.

And conservatives as well.

And I agree that there are many conservatives here who are as bad as you perceive many liberals to be. It would be intellectually dishonest of you or anyone else to imply or claim otherwise.
