I'm curious what nation would you like us to become and the reasons why.
I doubt you'll get many serious, thoughtful answers on this.
It's still sort of semi taboo in Progressive Left circles to openly admit that they see the Constitution as a hindrance to their Socialist Utopia and that they really would love to tell the founding fathers to stick it in their hats.
On the other hand there are some who will openly spout their hatred for Capitalism and the American way of life.
Ask this question again if Ted Cruz gets his way. Then we can ALL say we'd prefer living in the America the Founders designed, because we won't be living in it anymore.
Next up: the OP explains why returning to the Three-Fifths Compromise would be a traditional and good thing, and that's why liberals oppose it.
And then he can explain how when a party loses an election, it means they can demand concessions from the party that won. I'm sure he thinks that's in the Constitution somewhere. All the other Conservatives on this board do.
Japan would be nice...
It would be nice if the culture and manners were that of the Japanese.
For geography, I'd pick Europe.
For government, I'd pick the USA before we started fighting the commies.
The impression I get is that some on the right have an equally dislike of US principles. Many here seem to argue that we should NOT have equality while a much larger group seems to support the idea that Christianity should be the official state religion while all others should be suppressed.
None of those ideas are typical of the left-leaning posters.
So, to paraphrase your thread title and make equally sweeping and nonsensical generalizations:
If the Right doesn't like the way the country was founded, similar to what nation would you like us to be?
