We all remember media members, Hollywood folk shedding tears of joy on tv about finally making history with the first Black POTUS. Does anyone believe that these same people wouldve done the same if Obama was a Republican?
I say not a chance. I think they wouldve largely tamed down the historic aspects of it, and there certainly wouldve been few tears of joy.
Same goes if we have the first woman POTUS. They wouldnt treat it as significant and historic. I really hope we end up with the first female POTUS, just to prove my point. Though anyone who is honest would admit the media would not act as happy and joyous if history was made by a Republican in this regard.
