Who cares who's fault it is... IT'S ALL THEIR FAULTS... Every single one of those scum sucking twits!

Rather than be angry at the media for blaming a majority of this shutdown on the Republicans... why dont we all just be angry at Washington in general for putting this country into such a mess that is majorly affecting each and every citzen of this country?

It's bad enough that our government points fingers at each other and bicker, and have little school girl fights about everything under the sun, which un-freaking-believably causes a more than 2 week shutdown... but yet everyone on these message boards still try to defend each others parties and point blame at who's fault it is.

Answer: EVERY...SINGLE... ONE OF THEM!!!!

Here are some lib media examples of "bias" from the MRC report used to compile the 51-0 numbers:

“This current showdown and this current government shutdown traces its history back to a determined core of GOP House members who are vehemently against ObamaCare and were willing to shut down the government because of it,” NBC anchor Brian Williams asserted on the October 14 Nightly News.

On October 1, for example, ABC’s World News used a man on the street to spank conservatives: “I think the whole ‘holding the government hostage of ObamaCare’ is just ridiculous.”

On the October 1 CBS Evening News, furloughed Treasury worker Peter Gamba complained: “It’s a nightmare for me financially. Actually, it causes me a lot of anxiety and stress. I don’t sleep well at night.”

Three days later, when the shutdown was less than a week old, NBC correspondent Miguel Almaguer profiled another out-of-work federal employee: “Wendy Robinson has been furloughed. A single mom with three mouths to feed, today she got her last paycheck. Robinson blames Congress.”

On October 11, for example, ABC’s Jim Avila highlighted for World News viewers the heart-breaking story of an eight-year-old leukemia victim, Maddie Major, including a soundbite from the girl’s mother, Robin: “It’s the most devastating thing in the world to know that there could potentially be a cure for her, but because of a stalemate in the government, we can’t research those options. It’s mind-blowing.”

Hell Republicans in the House AND the Senate blamed Republicans for the shutdown so why in the hell would the media be any different. You know there AREN'T two sides to EVERY story.

Default Cost of tea party's shutdown and debt ceiling brinksmanship: $24B or 0.6% of annualized Q4 growth

It's worth keeping in mind that when the tea party types declare what a victory this was, they are declaring how happy they are that they wrought economic harm through their maniacal demand to destroy a law that was legally put on the books and that they don't have the electoral mandate to overturn.

On top of this comes the damage to US credibility around the world, the new focus of investors to diversify away from the US dollar, and the potential downgrade of US credit rating, all of which will increase interest rates and actually worsen our long-term debt.

Need I remind you all that this economic damage was completely unnecessary. The outcome is the same as before; nothing substantive was achieved by this.

And yes, for the thousandth time, it is the fault of the GOP conservatives. If you're the side that started this whole mess by using the threat of economic harm to try to dictate an outcome you have no right to dictate, then it is blatantly stupid to blame others for the outcome of your actions. And the fact that GOP favorability is at 28% and the public blames GOP by a 22 point margin for this is proof that most people see through the lies.

I'm all for multi-year debt reduction, but not with these kinds of tactics - and especially when debt reduction wasn't even their stated goal at the start of this mess.

The Costs of the Government Shutdown | ABC News - Yahoo

Quote:
"The bottom line is the government shutdown has hurt the U.S. economy," Standard & Poor's said in a statement. "In September, we expected 3 percent annualized growth in the fourth quarter because we thought politicians would have learned from 2011 and taken steps to avoid things like a government shutdown and the possibility of a sovereign default. Since our forecast didn't hold, we now have to lower our fourth-quarter growth estimate to closer to 2 percent."

Moody's Analytics reported a similar number Wednesday, saying by the end of the day the shutdown will cause a $23 billion hit to U.S. GDP or $1.4375 billion per day.

Obama and the foolish liberals insist that there should be no limits on spending anyway, so what's the problem?

Better yet, follow Ted Cruz off that political cliff just like a good little lemming.

Where does your $3 trillion come from? Thin air?

The CBO revised the cost of Obamacare to be $2.9 Trillion dollars and growing.

Your kids are "deadbeats", and not "winners" if they are too apathetic to buy their own insurance policy. You must be a proud parent that your kids have "failed to launch" and prefer to live off of you. I bet they also fought their mom to stay on breast milk too.

But there are. Discretionary has been cut quite a bit. Sequester cuts are still in effect, despite either side's discomfort with them, and both sides will take it on the chin. So what's not to like there?

Just add it to the debt. According to the liberals extreme debt is great, it does wonders for the economy. Why worry about this drop in the bucket?
