How you likin' them Tea Party folks now?

Oh wait, I can tell you. According to the latest polls just before the shutdown was lifted, the American public gave Republicans an approval rating of only 25%, and the Tea Party an approval rating of only 20%, the lowest ever recorded.

And what did they get for that $24 Billion blowout? Nothing. Just as predicted by more moderate members of the Republican party.

And yet people are already piling in here, asserting that the next time the Tea Party will prevail!

Realistically, the next time the Tea Party may not even be at the table. All they have done is wreak havoc, and the costs are starting to mount. The public is sick of it.
Maybe if Obama for once has a budget, it would not get to it.

Maybe if Obama get budget under control, it would not get to it.

Yes, everything is Obama fault. He is the person who signed the budget.

Since he becomes president, we get this crap every year.

That's because it was their fault, are they also supposed to blame the Democrats just to be fair?

wait. 0 for Dems??? What about Fox News, probably the most watched network of all, did they blame the Republicans too? Or are you being selective and only choosing certain networks?

perhaps they could have you know looked into what attempts to work together were made before 21 days ago.
Tell me why doesn't the media ask the president hard questions like.
"Mr president you said a family could buy a good policy for about the cost of a cellphone bill. No one seems to be able to find a policy for that price. Can you provide a link so that everyone can go buy it?"
Mr President you claimed that the ACA would not negatively impact those who already had insurance. Many report that their premiums have nearly doubled and more. Can you explain what happened to your promise?"

Blame the media for your mistakes...The is the oldest modern day GOP ploy.

Ask Sprio T. Agnew and Richard M. Nixion who caused all their problems.

WTH - did someone send out talking points? ...in an attempt to drive a wedge in between the tea party/Ted Cruz and those who actually care about how much government spends?

Anyone who starts a thread on this doesn't care about $24 billion... they care about advancing the political football to the left.

Maybe we should have a sticky thread stuck to the top of the list - Ted Cruz, Tea Party waste $24 billion.

The title of this thread is completely misleading.

The shutdown was caused by the Democrats in the Senate.
