Here's a more complete article. Victim is black, yet again. However, police say he was brandishing weapons and acting aggressively. Let's wait and see what the courts say.
By the way, I wonder if the cop, another trigger happy Southerner I should add, is a military veteran?

Thanks for that link. That article (Huff post) refers to THIS article by a newspaper:
The title of this thread is, of course, misleading. It appears possible that it was reported that the victim was suicidal (although, the interview with the mother belies that). Indeed, the women's statements seem rather odd (such as the fiance saying that she saw the victim cup his mouth with his hand, which led her to believe he had taken too much diabetic medication; or, he was yawning).
Anyone, one of these women called 911, and obviously requested police. But, again, we shall see.

It's happened to the black community way too often over the years. Unfortunately many of the stories didn't get publicity or worse, the officer would get off scott free.
I think the digital age is changing people's views on law enforcement corruption. It seems to be more widespread than most people think.
A lot of the old timer cops back in the day were WW2/Vietnam vets and this was never a problem. I think a lot of the cops today are young hotshots who play too much Call of duty games.
