I am fortunate that I do not need or take any prescription meds. Nonetheless, the cost of such meds in the U.S., especially those paid for with deficit spending is a hot button for me. Big Pharma owns Congress. Why hasn't the tea party seized on the opportunity to reduce deficit spending by a minimum of $ half a trillion over the next ten years and allow Medicare to negotiate the price of meds, as is done in the rest of the world?

Maine First State to Legalize Prescription Drug Imports

In many parts of Maine there is better acess to places like Moncton NB or Fredrickstown NB in Canada than downstate in places like Portland! So why not order your meds from a Candian drug store at Canadian prices? The same would work in Upper great Lakes and Northern New York State (Niagra Region and alond the St Lawernce River valley) and in Nothern Washington state.

And lets not forget about places like Tiajuana, Mexicali, Juarez, Laredo, Matamoras and Nogales!
