We have record revenues for 2012. We have had tax increases.

Only an idiot would conclude that we need more "revenues" rather than less spending. Are these guys that moronic?

Revenues - Spending = Surplus (or if negative, Deficits).

These imbeciles will blow any additional "revenue" that they receive and will not act responsibly. That is their history. We need Legal constraints on these spending addicts, who have equated spending to chances of re-election.

1. Congressional Balanced Budget Amendment
2 15% VAT
3. Flat income tax for EVERYONE at 20%
4. Corporate taxes at 15%
5. Raise medicare/social security eligibility to age 72
6. Permit foodstamps/medicaid/welfare for only three years of a ten year period
7. allow energy exploration on federal lands
8. enforce immigration laws
9. repeal Obamacare
10. demand the "commands" of the EPA be only authorized by congressional vote/review
11. repeal/renegotiate NAFTA and China trade policies

Rejecting the idea Congress can't control its spending impulses, the House turned back a Republican proposal Friday to amend the Constitution to dam the rising flood of federal red ink. Democrats — and a few GOP lawmakers — said damage from the balanced-budget mandate would outweigh any benefits.
Sorry bad idea with no support except from those that have the government shut down.
