And you don't like Obamacare but what do you think should happen to the 16% of Americans who don't have health insurance? These people still get sick and they don't have insurance to alleviate the atrocious costs of healthcare in this country.

Out of your 16%, how many of those CHOSE to NOT have health care?
We already have a program. it is called Medicaid.

"Medicaid is the United States health program for families and individuals with low income and resources'"

Medicaid - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There was NO reason for a program with the breadth and scope as Obamacare,

And you know Medicaid isn't exactly easy to qualify for, right? In the state of Florida you have to be chronically sick (AND have a LOT of medical bills) or have dependents to qualify for it.

There was a HELL OF A LOT OF REASON FOR OBAMACARE! I swear to god you conservatives LOVE it that people with pre-existing conditions could be denied health insurance because of their pre-existing conditions. Or that jobs increasingly did not offer group health plans to their employees. This law did need to pass and the voters have spoken on their support of it.
