"In the Obama administration's Washington, government officials are increasingly afraid to talk to the press," wrote Downie, now a journalism professor at Arizona State University. "The administration's war on leaks and other efforts to control information are the most aggressive I've seen since the Nixon administration, when I was one of the editors involved in The Washington Post's investigation of Watergate."

Report: Obama brings chilling effect on journalism

Pretty damn bad if MSN says that kind of stuff since they have the rep of being "libs".

If you speak out against Obama just be sure not to go overseas. You might find a drone hovering over your head.

As reported by MSNBC

Those suspected of discussing classified information are increasingly subject to investigation, lie-detector tests, scrutiny of telephone and email records and now surveillance by co-workers under a new "Insider Threat Program" that has been implemented in every agency.

If you had ever had a high clearance you would know and you would have agreed to not talk about classified information, that is why it is called CLASSIFIED.

The media puts out a very aggressive effort to defend Democrats whenever the media reveal a scandal. Why? These actions imply that the media has an agenda. The media outlets are bounded by their viewership or readership area, called their "media market." and since the largest American cities are dominated by the Democratic Party, it follows that the media in these large cities must cooperate with the Democratic party to pursue their mutual agenda.

The media have their own financial interest rooted in demographics, they protect the corruption of the Democratic Party. One can ask whether liberal media focus on corporate greed to cover up their own advertising revenue greed and the government greed of the Democrats they support.

Do you know what a whistle blower is? Someone who knows the government is doing something seriously WRONG. Snowden had to leave the country before he told us what was happening. He knew what would happen to him if he stayed. He even went to a country where he knows doesn't like Obama.

How much damage can result when they don't fulfill their responsibilities? The press is the only private institution the founding fathers included in the Constitution. Obviously they recognized its importance. If the media had fulfilled its critically important duties, Obama would not have been elected or reelected president. The media is not motivated by professionalism and integrity but rather by greed and fear.

Often you see images of Obama with a halo. Seriously, people can't see what they are doing?

The mainstream media is first and foremost a business. Like any business it must generate revenue, pay its bills and make a profit for its shareholders. To produce income it must attract customers (advertisers and subscribers) to buy its product (the news as well as viewers or readers). Based on the results over the past ten years it is obvious that the product the mainstream media is promoting is not selling.
