Just another feel-good fantasy for the right wing haters.

The founding fathers were radically liberal in their time.

The "conservatives" of that era were the loyalists, torries, and traitors who opposed the revolution.

Benjamin Franklin would be proud of Republican efforts to defund ObamaCare.

The "Great Compromise."
If the House minority has the power to defund any lawful policy based on their political interests, then why hold elections and go through the pretense of passing bills through the house and senate? We should just have the House minority dictate what policies the nation will implement.

Sequestration Is the Bipartisan Law of the Land. Sequestration was agreed to in a bipartisan manner. Obamacare was forced through by Democrats using reconciliation as a means of getting around Republican opposition.

Now would the founding fathers applaud the Democrats for Democrats ensured the GOP had no seat at the table for Obamacare.

You know it all,

doesn't even know his "company" tax classification.

Yea, liberals telling us how to run the country. It's a very scary time people.
Well you are welcome to sit next to me when I file my taxes next year. Moving on from this off topic.

Yet it passed the House, Senate, White House, and Supreme Court. Care to tell me where it matters what whiny Republicans think of ACA if it legally and constitutionally passed each of those steps?

I have a hard time imagining John Adams and Thomas Jefferson spending 5 minutes with the likes of Ted Cruz and Michelle Bachmann. I think they would be mortified with the tasteless, anti-intellectual path the GOP has taken. To think 200 years later we would be led by such buffoons would be very depressing for them. They would not take a high view of professional bull**** artists like Rush Limbaugh or Beck either, nor of their fawning audiences.

I think they would like Barack Obama. He is a statesman and a thinking man with vision and an understanding of history, like them.

Try to keep up.

I responded to a poster, It may have been you, who was complaining that the House Majority Party changed the rules, as if it had NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE.

"that is still wrong to do".

No it isn't.

Article 1. Section 5

They would applaud every time the nation uses the process they created, but they would never applaud a sore loser like the GOP.
