I guess you missed November. Maine, Maryland, and Washington passed by popular vote.
Of course you know I meant California. 4 states doesn't signify the "rest of the country" by anyone's count.

What are we talking about here? Homosexuality.
My homosexual lifestyle is just like my neighbors heterosexual lifestyle. We both have kids, are stay at home moms, do the cleaning and shopping, run errands, take the kids to practice, have cook outs, we have the same education level, have pets, go out to eat, go to the movies, sometimes go dancing, worry about bills, have birthday parties, etc. The only difference is who we are attracted to.

Maybe you don't understand what a lifestyle is.

No...I do.

A lifestyle is just that: a style of living, your way of life. It could be on a personal level, group level..on and on.

The agenda didn't garner enough sympathy when it was a choice, so the brain trust got together and decided the best course of action was to find some scientists they could buy to say they were born gay.....
I'm a gay man. Please describe to me my "gay lifestyle."

Personally, if asked to describe my lifestyle, the fact that I'm gay wouldn't even be mentioned.

Renting a hall is not partaking. It is renting.
If I rent my house to someone, I am not partaking in their life. If I sell someone something I am not partaking in whatever they do with the thing. If I rent a hall to someone I am not partaking of the event they are having.

They sell wine in their store. Good Mennonites don't partake of alcohol. Since they sell wine at their bistro, and serve wine during receptions are they also partaking in the wine?

and thats why you are struggling to get over this issue. You see it as an attack on a gay person. Where
as its not the gay person at all, its the ceremony thats puts the Christians soul in jeopardy. The christian is partaking in the sin...even providing service is partaking in it.

No it's not. That's ridiculous.

If I own a restaurant and some Muslims come in an order a meal, selling them food and serving it too them doesn't mean I just partook in a Muslim meal. It simply means I sold some people who happen to be Muslim food and, hopefully, made a profit by doing so.

And my lifestyle is almost exactly like the lifestyle of my heterosexual neighbors. There is no "gay" lifestyle any more than there is a hetero lifestyle.

then the "christian" needs to get out of a business that deals with the public if they have such issues.

can't discriminate even if your very christian soul is in jeopardy.
