One can actually consider race and STILL treat the person as an individual.

Hell, one can be an outright racist bigot and still treat the person fair. I've seen it. I've dealt with extremely racist whites before for this or that reason, but they didn't allow it to manifest itself in my presence in whatever was transpiring so I didn't care about their stance on race. That's their problem.. not mine.

Pretty much.

My SO is Irish-Mexican with a pinch of Asian and native American.....I love variety.

There will always be buttheads. Heck, look at India and Mexico where the elites look down on "lower castes" or browner natives.....it's NOT a whites only issue and sure isn't in the USA.

The face of racism in the USA 40 years from now isn't white. Deal with it.

I don't have a problem with anyone's race but I do not want our culture to be diluted or changed dramatically.

^^^^^Anyone with racial views is an idiot, likely hurting themselves in life more than anyone else at this point.

Think about all the friendships, loves or just basic business transactions one hurts themselves with.

Hey, I'm lilly white and here in 2013, I'd *LOOVE* my son to bring home a nice black gf....vs. a bad white one. White, black, Asian, indian....I don't care. (Well, as long as they aren't Russian because they are crazy......lol.)

It's interesting that in Brazil slavery lasted 300 years under their govt, and didn't end to date, but only officially ended in 1888. There is virtually no whine from that part of the world for it. But here where slavery lasted 76 years under American rule of law we have had 148 years of whine. With Obama it has only become worse.
Brazil is one of the most racist nations on Earth.

Clearly you're clueless. No surprise there.

It's impossible. No such thing exists nor has it ever existed.

Human beings can never transcend being human. Noticing and exploiting differences is a human trait.

Perhaps. However, a person being a racist bigot means the chances of that person treating someone poorly based on one's race is much higher. I might have been around some very bigoted persons and not have known it. However, an America where one doesn't have to think about race, well, it might be a good thing.
