Mike Ditka on the ‘Biggest Mistake I’ve Ever Made’: Not Running Against ObamaABC News
In-depth coverage
My biggest regret is never getting a chance to see Ditka run against Obama. LMAO...he deprived the American people of the biggest comedy show in the history of politics.
Ditka would've been laughed out of the state after his FIRST debate. Alan Keyes is an idiot and even he's brighter than Ditka, so imagine what a fool Ditka would've made out of himself had he run.
Mike..stick to football. You're barely qualified to operate an Easy Bake Oven.
"Biggest mistake I've ever made," Ditka said, according to the Dickinson Press newspaper. "Not that I would have won, but I probably would have and he wouldn't be in the White House."
Not that I would have won...but I probably would have? He seems to have taken too many blows to the head.
He could have easily done better than Keyes, who is a raving lunatic. Like calling McCain's daughter a selfish perverted hedonist, and advocating shooting abortion doctors.
It's easy to make up alternate realities and dream favorable scenarios.

You're correct, because he'd probably be against corruption, stealing from people and shooting each other.
I grew up in Chicago and was--and still am--a Bears fan. Ditka was a great coach. I'm glad for his sake that he didn't embarrass himself by trying to step out of his skill set and tarnish the great reputation he still enjoys in the city.
Now he`s embarrassing the good people of western Pa. I should call people`s attention to the ongoing discussions regarding NFL players and brain damage.

Yeah, well since he's from Aliquippa, Pa, he should be quite used to it.
