Or, of course, you might just be full of --it.
It's right there in the Immutable book of Facts, right after Obamaphones, death panels and the Chicago welfare queen with 16 kids living on Porterhouse steaks and caviar.

No, no, no. It's eating crab legs out of her Coach bag while driving a brand new Escalade.

SNAP (Food Stamps): Facts, Myths and Realities

It is also a myth that most SNAP recipients and people who are recipients of other such programs are drug abusers:

2012-2013 data shows only 12 test positive in Utah welfare drug screening | Deseret News

For even more evidence towards dispelling the drug addict welfare myth, my own state recently drug tested 1300 people receiving TANF (Temporary Aid to Needy Families.)

Of the 1300 tested, only 16 were found to have any illicit/illegal drugs in their system.

Kinda makes you wonder if there shouldn't be a cost/benefit analysis before any more states throw tons of money at popping UAs on people getting gov't assistance.
Don't you find it some what strange to think a country can be hungry and still have the biggest obese problem at the same time Someone is lying! Most of the children in schools have a weight problem, yet most are starving.

Guess the government has you convinced.......

You being in Canada not sure why you'd be concerned with our welfare program. Does seem you like spending others money though......this video below is for you also. You must support this in your country?

Sure did! People suck off the system and your protecting the abuse Is this guy like any of your friends?

[WATCH] California surfer uses food stamps to buy sushi and avoid work

Why bother getting a job when you can jam out, surf and enjoy sushi with your bros, thanks to government food stamps?

In addition to surfing and playing in his band, Greenslate’s daily routine keeps him pretty busy.

“Wake up, go down to the beach, hang out with my friends, hit on some chicks, start drinking,” Greenslate explained to Roberts

We don't have food stamps in Canada, so it shows how much you know.
Ergo, none of my friends are on food stamps.

I've never seen a food stamp in my life. How old is that thing? A $3 coupon to use at the Farmer's Market only, to promote healthier eating, is a little different than EBT cards.

Indeed, but they do exist. For the most part Canada addresses low income people through the tax code.
