What really bothers me about people like Pnwmdk is that they aren't going to be helping anyone but themselves. They'll hide up with their gold coins (good luck eating those) and their guns, too scared to reach out to anyone. Not to mention they don't really seem to like anyone or have the slightest interest in building or re-building a functional society. If they were, they'd get off their high horses and start now. But they believe in their heart of hearts that they are meant to be the superior leaders of this world and only the mean ol' government keeps them from their full potential.

They dream about 'going Galt' but don't have the male equipment (to be polite) to actually strike out on their own and create their utopia. And I don't just mean 'going off the grid' or moving to some Mexican resort town. To do the work Ayn Rand promulgated takes courage, resources and resolve...which they lack.

the only people that are ready for the collapse are those living in "communities' out in Idaho and the like. Off the grid.

These e-self-suffiecient types are sucking off the teet as well as anyone.

They do have one built-in advantage: all of their lovingly thumbed copies of "The Virtue of Selfishness" will make great TP once the S (literally) H the F.
