I'm curious if people are aware at all that if the Affordable Care Act falls on its face that it can be voted away if people realize it is not working? If not, what did you think was the alternative to that which would prevent thqt from happening?

So true. There is nothing closer to eternal life than a bad government program.

Really now, if you are so educated on this matter then tell me why there have been so many repealed government programs. If you want the long view then there are programs that were even put into our basic constitutional basis that were banned, but you don't have to travel that far into our political history for programs that were defunded and defunct within a single presidency. Were you at all aware of this or does the actual history of what's happened just an inconvenient fact of history?

Really, if you can't answer this then why are you even voicing an opinion rather than sitting still while whatever crapville continues to fester with no actual movement to make our economy globally competive. Learn a new and useful skill--that is, by any ideology is what is holding our country back. Take the time you spend on these stupid forums and learn a skill that will actually pivot our economy towards something useful. For crissakes, at least learn how to make a laser cutting template, some basic circuitry or programming.

For those of us who pay an incredible amout of taxes and don't kvetch up and down about it, we are tired of working against this stupidity which brings us against this kind of stupidity. Learn a goddamn useful skill. We are in this together against incredibly competive economies without havingnto reduce our population to a truly subsistence level of existence. Stop screwing around and learn a real useful skill. There are incredible repositories of knowledge inaccessible to others just by dint of the English language and the infrastructure to teach via the Internet. Why are you letting this go to waste by spending e en half the time on these sitews when this crap is still waiting for you even if you take an hour or five away to learn an actual skill? Use my tax money, you ass. At least give me the idea you are using it well.

Typical liberal snark. I don't debate arses who rant on and on based on speculation. Thanks.

Prohibition went away when it concerned money. Government taxes the hell out of alcohol due to the fact they now regulate any and all sold nationally/internationally. It lasted a decade and change before Americans were basically ignoring the unconstitutional law and drinking anyway in underground bars all around the country. Lots of people learned to brew their own beer. Doctors use to write a prescriptions for patients so they could go to a bar a certain number of times a day/ week for a specified amount of liquor for each visit. The federal government printed the official prescriptions at the BEP. Google it.

Don't forget the ads on tv telling they can get someone else to pay for their healthcare, and media telling them the meany republicans want to to kill them.

We can vote away SS too.... The problem with a law like this once in place while technically it can be repealed the fact is it's so entrenched you can't get rid of it.
