I never got an answer on my question. ARE YOU OK WITH IT? Are you ok with more borrowing or do you want it to stop?

Obama has been slow to fix the issues. He underestimated the position that Bush had left the country. Frankly, Obama was not the right person for the job. But we got stuck with him.

I'm not a democrat, but we're still in favorable territory, so I'm okay with it so far. The fact that the deficit has been shrinking on a year after year basis is comforting.

Way to go Cons! Keep on harming America with your misguided ideology.

I am sorry, I cannot take Republicans seriously anymore.
And the Dems have done what to reduce the debt? Obama is in charge now and he keeps wanting to borrow, borrow, and borrow again.

In favor of the national debt? Ah, no but then I wasn't thrilled with a loan that I had to take out to purchase new equipment for my office. But in order to stay in business, I took out the loan...

I bet you plan on paying it back as soon as possible so the interest won't eat you up but then that is your money and you are being more careful with it than politicians are with spending other people's money.

It most certainly can be. More important is governance over the borrowing.

The OP is asking whether it makes sense to borrow going forward in fear that we'll make the same mistakes as Bush.
