Vote these GOP Senators out of office in your primaries:

Alexander (R-TN)
Ayotte (R-NH)
Barrasso (R-WY)
Blunt (R-MO)
Boozman (R-AR)
Burr (R-NC)
Chambliss (R-GA)
Chiesa (R-NJ)
Coats (R-IN)
Cochran (R-MS)
Collins (R-ME)
Corker (R-TN)
Fischer (R-NE)
Flake (R-AZ)
Graham (R-SC)
Hatch (R-UT)
Hoeven (R-ND)
Isakson (R-GA)
Johanns (R-NE)
Kirk (R-IL)
McCain (R-AZ)
McConnell (R-KY)
Moran (R-KS)
Murkowski (R-AK)
Portman (R-OH)
Thune (R-SD)
Wicker (R-MS)
The bolded above are my senators. I actually have a lot more respect for both of them now, especially Johnny Isakson, than I did before since they were smart enough to end the shut down and be sensible.

Chambliss is not running again. I wish he were because some nut Tea Partier I heard is ahead in the polls. I will make sure to support whatever regular Republian runs against the Tea Partier.

Chambliss has said he is not running because of the corruption and polarization in Washington. He is basically sick of playing the game. I respect him for his honesty even though I originally didn't vote for him.

I have never voted for Isakson, but I will next time around since he has proven that he is more sensible than I originally thought he was.

And FWIW, I'm an Independent. Here in GA in a statewide election, a Dem will not win due to GA being a red state. Because we don't have to state a party affiliation, I can vote in whatever primary I want and usually I vote in the republican primary so that I can have a say in electing a member of the senate or house who is not a Tea Party fringe member. I knew Johnny Isakson was not one of them, but his vote and his comments over the last week have proved that he is about governing and not having a hissy fit like the Tea Partiers.

Agreed! You guy's need to declare all out war on the other half of your party. Don't just talk about it.....DO IT! Expel each and every one of them and take the rest out back behind the barn and shoot them.

Good luck in establishing the purity your faction requires for admission. We in the center and left will stay out of the way while you clean house.

I am actually liked Chambliss, it will be a huge loss for the country if his seat is replaced with a Tea Party candidate. I can only home a good moderate Democrat wins if the TP wins the primary. Good to hear about Isakson, he is a politician I really don't know anything about.

Never mind. Whatever. I need to remember that arguing with crazy people gets me nowhere. Have a nice day, Nonsenseguy.

Oddly I was reading that Sam Nunn's daughter is running as the democratic candidate, I had heard a "legacy" Dem was running for the Senate seat but didn't know it was her - Michelle Nunn. She was one of the founders of Hands on Atlanta (a volunteer organization that I have worked through before) and her dad has a well respected legacy in the state.

I will still be voting in the GOP primary, because I think she will win the Dem primary hands down, but I am hoping if the Tea Partier does come out on top in the GOP primary, then I will hold out hope that more sensible GOP members will vote for Nunn over the Tea Partier.

Since both my senators are (D), they're not on that list

But please, do vote these supposed "non-conservatives" from office. Because you haven't learned anything from Christine O'Donnell, Ken Buck, Sharron Angle, Richard Murdock, or Todd Akin.
Oh, what does that spell? O.B.A.M.A
