Good old MSNBC. Often in error, never in doubt.

If you'd been watching MSNBC they're talking about how the GOP wasted the opportunity to hold up the website failure as evidence of how bad Obamacare would be b/c the country was too busy focusing on GOP gov't shutdown.

"Whooo... thank God the GOP is catering to a bunch of jackhorses. We don't have to defend how bad this website roll out has been."

To an extent - it really doesn't matter TO THEM how accurate they are. Of course it's ridiculous, but if their claim sticks to a certain percent of the population - mission accomplished.

They get paid enough to do what they do.

Perhaps it would have spared you from looking kind of silly right now? Not that you seem to care overly much.

There's a special place in hell awaiting people willing to be media propagandists.

A reporter from Slate Magazine wrote a piece about how many people think the reason the rollout for the ACA was so rocky was due to the Republicans shutting down the government. You have to love those kinds of unintended consequences. The Tea Party Shutdown debacle is the gift that just keeps giving.

But it's Slate Magazine... the people who read Slate Magazine on a serious level would never, have never and will never vote for anything conservative or Republican. That's like saying that the Daily Kos posted something about Republicans being responsible for whooping cough. Sure you would have a ton of brainless left wing morons reposing it here for a couple days and Lexus would write a half page diary entry about how that story marks the collapse of the Tea Party while calling Obama superior or something stupid like that. The only people who take BS like that seriously are the left wing nut jobs who only take their fingers out of their ears long enough to stick their hand out.

People who read Slate Magazine or people who honestly believe that the GOP is in any way responsible for the failure known as Obamacare were never going to vote for anyone in the GOP in the first place.

No, it wasn't the readers of Slate, it was people he talked to in the process of writing a story, average people who don't follow politics closely. Many were irate about what the Republicans were doing. And it's a perfectly reasonable assumption for those kinds of people to make, as the rollout began on the same day the government shut down, and the reason the GOP claimed they were doing it was to shut down Obamacare. People believed that they were responsible for the exchanges not working.

Talk about bad timing for the GOP. I think it's pretty hilarious. What a debacle.
