Whatever that's supposed to mean.

Any Mormon today who is found to be practicing polygamy is immediately excommunicated from the Church. There are NO exceptions.

Consent, Retroit. No one but an adult human can legally and ethically give consent for marriage.

I would love to know how often this happens in 2013 anyway, hetero or homo.

Wrong. There's LDS and FLDS.

Well, it might be nice, then, if people would attempt to make a distinction between the two in their posts. When people say "Mormon," it's generally members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints they are talking about. I'm not looking for a fight over semantics, but of all people who may call themselves "Mormons," the LDS Church constitutes 99.03% and the FLDS Church constitutes .07%. (That's not 7%, it's 7/100th of 1%.) So to imply that even a negligible number of the 99.03% practice polygamy is, if not technically dishonest, misleading at the very least.

It might actually decrease the divorce rate since people will not be forced to divorce before remarrying.
Extreme religious sects of the Latter-Day Saints movement may practice polygamy, but that church does not practice it. In fact, members will be excommunicated if they are found to practice it.

A Honeymoon Agenda?

Of course most SS couples probably want to take a honeymoon. Just like hetero couples. If you want to understand the SSM "agenda", just look at straight people's marriage "agenda"...they are the same. That's the whole point!
