Makes you wonder how the government will handle it when thousands of people have their account hijacked and their bank accounts emptied.

It really doesn't make me wonder. Healthcare.gov doesn't add any additional risk in that regard that isn't there already.

Well, you first have to answer all kinds of intimate questions, give them your SS number and age, then they will look for insurance for you.

McAfee may be a nut but he says the web site is screwy. Why give out your info until you get a policy to sign up for?

You ask a lot of questions... which is ironic for someone who never answers them.

Fafsa has been online for 16 years, asks for your SS, age and intimate questions about you and your family members. It receives 10 million applications per/year and has never realized the risk that you are concerned about.

You, personally, have a higher risk than most people due to how easily you trust nuts that you admittedly know nothing about.

What is fatsa? Plus, I would never give out my SSN to anyone unless I knew who they were and what they wanted to do with it.

I never trust nuts but I read what they think or else I would never come here.

They probably sell the information anyway. Information is big business. I know the DMVs do. Nothing wrong with being careful of where you put your data and how it is being handled though. It would be foolish not to be aware imo.
