You have to get down into the psyche of a right-winger who has totally checked into the conservative alternative reality. If Obamacare doesn't end up being as bad as they have been telling themselves and everyone else, there entire world view will collapse.
...or worse yet...the oxygen supply into bubble world will be cut off.
That's odd. I've heard from numerous posters on this site that healthcare.gov works just fine, or that it has some "glitches" and "kinks". If that's true, why is the White House now saying the website won't be fully operational until **DECEMBER**????
Are you surprised? Given that this administration accepts no responsibility for any of their debacles (spendulus, green energy failures, Benghazi, Fast and Furious, AP source shakedown, among others), why would this be any difference? Most corrupt and administaration in history.
Oooooh, one of those vulture capitalists the Obama campaign so railed against last election. As sometimes attributed to FDR, "He may be a sob, but he is our sob."
And if you read the article, he's not even promising that it will be completely fixed, just that it will work for the "vast majority." So even if they deliver on this promise, which I doubt, there will still be people who still won't be able to get through the exchanges.
But Obama doesn't have many choices. Insurance companies are threatening to sue if he delays the individual mandate. And insurance experts are already pointing out that the vast majority of people signing up are on Medicaid. The Obama admin said they need 1/2 of the people to be in private insurance for this to work. In many states, the sign ups have been 80-90% Medicaid so far. This this isn't going to end in a death spiral, it's going to start in a death spiral.
Is that right? That's what they said? I hadn't heard that.
It's definitely worse than we thought. Hilarious in a pathetic kind of way.
Let's hope they are smart enough to fix remaining issues incrementally and encourage people to check it out. The last thing they need is to announce "it's fixed" on 12/1 and have 20 million people log on all at the same time.
Websites that are done clumsily or with less than the needed care are not rare. This one was subcontracted out the way ALL government websites are done now. No doubt the people who come in and clean up the programming/bad testing mess common today are hard at work. Yes, politics has become a three ring circus with political terrorists a recent wrinkle, but bad websites are bad websites and I'm sure the rescue squad has made that estamate.
Systems which are huge do not run smoothly ever at first anyway, even if completely tested, which the current software standard is to let the users finish. Don't blame the president, blame microsoft who set the standard with letting the public test their operating system in 'beta versions' to see if they work. Cheaper than employing a lot of software experts for months.
I don't know that Obama is a software expert so all he can do is go by the dates he's given.
Here it is folks, one of the worst excuses and defenses of this Administration ive heard yet. One of the dumbest as well. Nights comment is so idiotic, it doesnt even deserve a formal response explaining its idiocy.
Given the defense by the liberal scumbags we've seen of the website, just imagine what utter stupidity will come from their mouths when Obamacare REALLY proves to be a disaster. I wonder whos fault it will be then.....
Wait. So conservatives complain & call Obamacare an utter failure when it's really simply the website that is having issues, not the actual healthcare reform. That right there proves how illogical conservatives are, can't even keep that simple fact straight. Now, a timeline is given for when hopefully the site will be up & running smoothly & the conservatives complain about that?

Sigh.....
The website is PROVEN a failure. As far as the actual law and thousands of rules/regs, we stand by that its a disaster. We have Democrats on record saying as much, also.
This also highlights government WASTE and INCOMPETENCE!
Again, for you extremely slow or in denial liberals:
1. Who in the hell pays hundreds of millions for a damn website?!??!?!?!
2. Who the hell was in charge of picking a contractor with the **** poor background of the one chosen?!?!
3. How do you set a launch date, and not have periodic deadlines leading up to that, where you are SHOWN where they are at and where they PROVE it works?! You dont wait and find out on launch week that its a complete failure!!!!!
4. Now they're throwing bs phrases like "tech surge" around. They no doubt will spend another multimillion dollars on this....again....tax payer dollars wasted.
5. Someone or some ones had to of known it was not ready. This Admin is corrupt and stupid, but are they really that stupid?
6. Not one person is being held accountable, when clearly several people at a minimum should lose their jobs and benefits over this. At least pretend to care that tax payers dollars were wasted on all this so far. At least pretend to care that our money that many of us bust our butts for to have it taken from us, should be used more responsibly.

Well Tilt, if you've been listening to whenever the conservatives open their mouths, the conservatives are calling Obamacare a failure in regards to the website problems. So I guess I stand by what I said in my post. As for the rest of your post...lol. That's all I have to say.
