Amen to that! And of course, Repubs are in the pockets of Big Business...while Dems try their best to get in there too.

Makes ya feel kindof powerless. Will no politician (besides Tom Tancredo) ever take a stand against this kind of crap?!

I don't think its gone, I think its still asleep, and starting to stir. Only a matter of time for "the greatest generation" to fall into the hands of the living, to take its place and stand for what is good and right.

Well I hope you are right,I must say since I started posting here I have come to believe even more that this nation is doomed.

I normally frequent more rural-type forums and a LOT of the posters here seem quite content with the nation....maybe not necessarily the particular party in power but the transgressions and corruption and almost complete abandonment of Constitutional principles is A-okay.

Hopefully me and my family will be hidden away on our little farm when it all falls apart.

Doesn't look that way. Sometimes I wish that the American people would just rise up, say NO MORE, and overthrow the government but then I wonder, would the period of Anarchy be any worse

I have acquaintances all over the place, different backgrounds, different political views. some in the middle, some left, and some right, and some extreme to the sides. They are all starting to gain a focus that I had not seen before, they are starting to agree that something needs to change, and they are more open to talking about what were before opposing views, and wanting to make compromises to get things back on track. I am more certain now than i was a few months ago that the ones that will fix things are starting to wake up. And there is hell to pay for the ones that are messing things up.

This is a good example of someone who is still asleep and/or just fine with goverment control of all. Hopefully, most of them will wake up before it gets any worse but, sadly some will never get it.

I don't think there are any "tunnel thoughts" yet to China. But Russia has big ambitions to build underground international tunnels to Europe and Asia. Must be the new fad/trend by countries who think they can afford such undertakings. Sorry, off topic.
