Since holding hostages to get what the far right wants worked so well for the Koch brothers and their corporate allies when they tried to deny Americans access to affordable Healthcare by blowing up the economy, they’re trying it again. This time, the Kochs’ lead hostage taker in the Senate is blocking Tom Wheeler’s nomination to be chairman of the FCC. Ted Cruz’s office confirmed that Cruz would release Wheeler’s nomination in exchange for a stop to transparency in spending on political ads, like that creepy Uncle Sam ad the Koch Brothers bought in their failed attempt to deny Americans access to doctors.

Sen. Ted Cruz Holds Wheeler Appointment Hostage to Protect Koch Money

Cruz put the snake in snake oil. What a piece of excrement! Cruz is fighting against transparency, but it is easy to see right thru his agenda.

The only excrement I see is the intent of the OP and the link to the psychophantic musings of the socialist party.

Answer the questions Mr. Wheeler.

I'm a believer in freedom of speech and anonymity, and that applies to politics as much as anything else. Therefore, if someone wants to donate anonymously that's their right to do so. Oftentimes anonymity gets people talking about the message rather than the man. Besides that, the Koch brothers represent only a tiny fraction of political campaign money, and there's plenty of money flying against the Koch brothers during these campaigns. The Koch brothers are not the powerful villains they've been made out to be by the Democrats. I'd say George Soros is at least as villainous as the Koch brothers with regards to donations and influence, so I consider it foolish to believe that this is all about the Koch brothers.

Also, what a horrendously biased article. Maybe you could link to a less venomous news source? Just a thought. Also, I think anyone who believes in separation of powers should support Cruz, considering that this is for all intents and purposes a change in campaign finance laws, which is the domain of the legislature, not the executive. Don't tell me that the Democrats are such spoiled brats that they'd change the rules if they didn't get their way . Don't tell me that the Democrats originally thought campaign finance was a legislative issue - oh, what's that? They wanted Congress to pass disclosure rules? They're acting like children! Don't they know that the current rules are the law of the land? Doesn't Ted Cruz deserve a straight answer to what the nominee will do on such an important issue? Isn't it the Senate's job to ask questions and demand answers before they approve an appointee?

Apparently Democrats support rule by decree - a wonderful invention currently used in third-world dictatorships that will soon be coming into your own backyard courtesy of Obama and the Democratic Congressmen .

It's good to see you're back to work spreading lies, I thought for a while you might start actually talking to us about things.

They must wake up in cold sweats, in the middle of the night!

The Progressives worst nightmare.
Political contributions use to be private, so they could not be used against them by the people in power, as a list for revenge.
